Glossy leaved indoor tree - Japanese Pepper zanthoxylum piperitum
This is a broom styled Japanese Pepper bonsai tree in an 18cm pot (sometimes called a Chinese pepper).
It has naturally glossy leaves which give off a nice aromatic smell, especially when trimming the tree & it can have small cream flowers in spring - the young leaves are sometimes used in oriental cookery.
- It likes a warm bright position & frequent water.
- It can be kept indoors or outside during summer.
This tree has a double trunk and is about 28cm tall from the rim of the 18cm wide pot.
