  • Our Oriental and Garden Gifts site shares the same checkout as our Bonsai Site so you can switch between the two and add products from both sites into the same shopping basket and reduce shipping costs.

EU customers outside the UK
  • Please select either euro or GB pounds currency from the bottom of any page, on the left (exchange rates are updated daily).
  • Some large / heavy items may be undeliverable by our usual carrier and may cost more to deliver depending on your country. We will contact you within 24 hours of your order if this is the case.
  • Airmail delivery aims to be within 3 working days to Western Europe and 4 days to Eastern Europe.
  • Royal Mail AirSure service delivers a day sooner than airmail so is recommended for trees. (Unfortunately the AirSure service is only available to certain countries.)
Customers outside the EU
  • Unfortunately we can NOT generally ship trees outside of Europe for legal reasons and due to time spent in transit. If you'd like a quote for shipping and are prepared to take the risk, then please Contact Us before checking out.
  • Please select your preferred currency from the bottom of any page, on the left (exchange rates are updated daily).
  • We reserve the right to change the delivery price if necessary. We will contact you within 24 hours if this is the case.
Currency
  • All orders are charged in UK Pounds Stirling. To give you an idea of the local price, use the flags at the top right and bottom right of every page to change currencies between UK Pound Stirling, US Dollar or EURO.
  • Currency exchange rates are updated daily.
  • Please bear in mind that if you check out in a currency other than UK Pounds Stirling, the actual amount charged to your card could vary by a small amount depending on realtime exchange rates.
Delivery
  • To find the delivery cost for an item / items, add it to your basket and proceed to the basket page. There you can enter your location and get a breakdown of all possible shipping charges.
  • We recommend using a registered delivery service (Registered, Special Delivery, Airsure, International Signed For or Courier Service) and cannot guarantee delivery for other services.
  • Orders will normally be dispatched on the next working day (unless agreed otherwise)
  • Trees will only be dispatched Mondays to Thursdays, to avoid them being held up over the weekend (We will only dispatch trees on Mondays & Tuesdays to non-UK locations.)
  • Please use the comments section during the checkout process to inform us of any special requirements.
    We could hold postage until a particular day or write a note on the parcel with instructions of where to leave it.
  • If you haven't received your goods one week after placing your order or within one day of any special delivery, delivery estimate, please contact us
  • If items are lost in the post and you chose a non-registered mailing service (standard 1st or 2nd class; standard parcel) you may have to wait until we receive a decision from a Royal Mail claim before we can decide how to proceed. If registered items become lost, we will replace them or refund you as soon as this becomes apparent.
Payment

Secure payments by all major credit and debit cards are accepted through SagePay. Details are entered directly into sagepays secure server and there is no risk due to data storage or transmission. Got-Bonsai has no access to card details, so if anyone tried (and was successfull) to hack into the site, there is no sensitive information available to them.
Shop with confidence - look for the https on the checkout pages.

we also accept cash and cheques but items will not be dispatched until payment is received and cleared
we don't recommend posting cash - if you must, we recommend using royal mail special delivery

Returns

We take care in accurately describing our products and packing them to a high standard to ensure that they arrive safely, however:

  • If your goods arrive damaged or faulty we will refund the full amount paid including return postage (where necessary), or replace with goods equal to the value of the original purchase. We may require you to return the item and packaging to us, or provide evidence of the damage, before a refund can be given.
    You will be responsible for any loss or damage to the goods which occur after they have been delivered to you
  • if you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible (within 14 days) and (excepting trees) we will either exchange it or give you a full refund (for the item price only) on the conditions that goods are returned in the same condition as when received, complete with all packaging - you will have to pay the return postage
Availability

If an item of stock is out of stock you should not be able to add it into your shopping basket - if there is any mistake and you are able to order a product not in stock we will either 1) provide a full refund, 2) substitute a similar item (subject to your approval), or 3) await receipt of more stock (subject to your approval)
