Product Description
indoor or outdoor tree - ulmus parvifolia
Chinese Elm's make great bonsai with small glossy leaves & interesting bark and they are fairly easy to maintain.
They can be kept indoors or outdoors, becoming deciduous when grown outside.
- Don't allow the soil to completely dry out but don't overwater - wait until the top of the soil starts to dry before watering.
- Feed every other week when the tree is actively growing with weak strength liquid bonsai feed.
- Trim regularly throughout the growing season to maintain the shape.
- Use a drip/humidity tray filled with gravel and water to keep humidity levels up (don't allow the tree to stand in water)
This tree is about 22cm tall from the rim of the 14cm wide glazed pot.
This tree is currently being kept indoors and should stay indoors until spring.
